Third-party interference, particularly construction-related damages, is a critical risk for gas pipeline infrastructure. To address these risks, CSE PreFerenceE, a specialized module within the Pipeline Integrity Management System (PIMS), provides high-precision GIS-based threat analysis and recommends mitigation strategies. Using machine learning and detailed GIS data, it quantifies the likelihood of third-party damage, enabling data-driven risk assessments and optimized protective measures. As part of the CSE Center of Safety Excellence, CSE PreFerenceE enhances pipeline integrity through precise risk evaluations, contributing to the safe and sustainable management of critical infrastructure.
