A two-day event will explore the cutting-edge pipeline and data integrity solutions ahead of the introduction of the new PHMSA ‘Mega’ Rule later this year.

Oil & Gas Pipeline Integrity & Data Utilization Solutions For Mega Rule Compliance 2020 is the first event of its kind to specifically address the implications for integrity management systems and technological investment strategies ahead of the rule’s implementation. It will address a range of concerns for both gas and liquids pipeline operators including Leak Detection, Corrosion, Data Integration, GiS and Field Communications. This targeted approach hopes to empower delegates with the knowledge and expertise required to navigate this brave new regulatory world.

The conference has won widespread industry support, with Williams, Navitas Midstream, Third Coast Midstream, DCP and the PRCI amongst the companies already speaking. Event Director Richard Walls believes that the quality of the speaking panel reflects an agenda that directly addresses the industry’s key concerns. He said: “There is no conversation more crucial in pipeline operations today than how we as an industry ensure pipeline integrity and public safety.”

“This event not only gets to the heart of our contemporary compliance challenges, but also illuminates the way forward through a focus on the leading technologies and strategies employed by key operators.”

“We have before us a once-in-a-generation opportunity to win public confidence whilst also streamlining our operations to make them economically sustainable in the long term.”

“This event will be the catalyst for that drive.”

Day one of the conference will look specifically at gas pipeline operations with day two focused on liquid pipeline operations. Delegates can book onto either day individually, or onto both days for a comprehensive look at pipeline integrity and compliance going forward.

“We have designed the agenda to be as specific and solution-orientated as possible, based on months of research with senior level executives at key operators.”

“Industry backing and support has provided the event with a platform and an agenda which is second-to-none.”

Operators looking to support the event through delivering case studies are encouraged to get in touch with Walls.

“There is a phenomenal amount of operator-led research and development happening across the industry at the moment, all over the country.”

“Our ears remain open to those who have something to contribute and I encourage them to get in touch.”

Walls can be reached via email at richard.walls@lbcg.com or on +1 866 839 1825.

The agenda can be accessed by visiting the website, and registrations are now being taken with early bird savings ending January 24:

As an integrity service provider, I would like to attend if it is possible , I want to have a grasp on how these new regulations can best be served by my company. Please let me know if this conference is available to operators only, or if service providers are welcome as well.Thank you.
