Corinth Pipeworks has secured a major line pipe supply contract valued between $200 million and $250 million for the Rovuma LNG Phase 1 Project off the coast of Mozambique, the company announced.

Under the agreement, awarded by operator ExxonMobil Moçambique Limitada on behalf of the Area 4 Partners, the Greek manufacturer will produce approximately 250 kilometers (155 miles) of high-performance line pipe.

The scope of work involves supplying 120,000 metric tons of Longitudinally Submerged Arc Welded (LSAW) steel pipe, ranging from 20 to 24 inches in diameter, destined for the project’s complex offshore gathering network.

Manufacturing will take place at Corinth Pipeworks' plant in Thisvi, Greece.

The order includes applying anti-corrosion coatings and concrete weight coatings to ensure the structural integrity of the subsea lines under deepwater gas operating conditions.

The contract represents a key supply chain milestone for the Rovuma LNG development in the Rovuma Basin, one of the world's largest natural gas projects under execution.

Mozambique Rovuma Venture S.p.A., an incorporated joint venture owned by ExxonMobil, Eni S.p.A., and China National Petroleum Corp., serves as the operator of the Area 4 Block with a 70 percent participation interest.

The remaining 30 percent interest in the concession is split equally among Galp, Kogas, and Mozambique’s state-owned Empresa Nacional de Hidrocarbonetos.

Corinth Pipeworks, the steel pipe segment of Cenergy Holdings, manufactures energy infrastructure piping with completed operations across more than 55 countries.

The Mozambique contract expands the manufacturer’s subsea portfolio as deepwater infrastructure developments accelerate worldwide.

The award adds to the list of recent projects undertaken by Corinth Pipeworks. In 2025, the company secured major contracts for Italy’s Adriatic Pipeline and the Greece–North Macedonia Natural Gas Interconnector.
