EnerMech Wins Two Pipeline Contracts Offshore Malaysia
UK-based EnerMech has secured two contracts for pipeline pre-commissioning work offshore East Malaysia, the company said Monday.
The contracts, with two unnamed tier-one clients supporting the same multinational operator, will expand EnerMech’s pipeline and subsea operations in the region. The work includes deepwater operations at a depth of 1,300 meters and shallower waters.
EnerMech will provide specialized services such as flooding, cleaning, and testing for subsea umbilicals, risers, and flowlines.
“Asia is a key market for us,” said Charles “Chuck” Davison, EnerMech CEO. “These contracts align with our strategy to expand our pipeline and subsea capabilities in the region.”
“EnerMech is in a strong position to win further subsea pipelines and umbilicals pre-commissioning projects as we have many years of expertise delivering similar project solutions around the world,” he added.
EnerMech has been building its presence in Malaysia. In July 2023, the company won a five-year contract for offshore crane operations and maintenance.
