Fugro, the world’s largest integrator of geotechnical, survey, subsea and geosciences services, has been awarded a contract by Blue Stream Pipeline Company B.V. to provide survey support vessels and other services related to the external inspection of the Blue Stream Pipeline.

Blue Stream comprises tow 24 inch gas export pipelines running on the floor of the Black Sea from Beregovaya gas compression station in Russia to the Durusu inlet terminal near Samsun, Turkey. Gas has been flowing through Blue Stream since 2003.

The Fugro-owned Atlantis Dweller was successfully mobilised in Istanbul at the end of August and is currently undertaking the external inspection of the offshore section.
