The Montanuniversität Leoben is proud to announce the launch of its new Pipeline Engineering Certificate Program, starting in October 2025. This program addresses the growing demand for specialized skills in pipeline engineering, equipping professionals to design, construct, operate, and maintain critical infrastructure for the safe and efficient transportation of diverse resources.

With a curriculum comprising nine modules and 22 specialized courses, the program offers comprehensive training in pipeline systems for transporting hydrocarbons such as oil and natural gas, hydrogen, carbon dioxide, geothermal fluid, ammonia, water, wastewater, slurry, heated and refrigerated fluids, and other industrial and environmental materials. Participants will also gain expertise in offshore pipeline engineering, automation, safety systems, integrity management, project management, and sustainable practices.

The flexibly designed program allows professionals to balance their education with work commitments. Its modular structure enables participants to focus on specific areas of interest or pursue a comprehensive understanding of pipeline engineering. Additionally, the program is structured over two semesters, providing a well-paced learning experience while allowing professionals to tailor their studies based on their career objectives. This format makes it ideal for individuals in the pipeline, energy, and infrastructure sectors who seek to advance their knowledge and adapt to the evolving challenges of resource transportation.
