Nord Stream 2, TurkStream, TANAP: "Eurasian Pipeline Forum: Linking East and West" at ptc 2019 in Berlin
There is a long tradition of energy cooperation between Europe and Asia. For decades, Russia for example has been a reliable partner for the supply of crude oil and natural gas. A number of other initiatives are currently being developed, involving Russia, Central Asia and Turkey. Europe's continuous need for energy makes the western part of the continent to an attractive market for neighboring countries and companies that offer large quantities of fossil fuels. Key projects such as Nord Stream 2, TurkStream and TANAP are technically challenging and of great geopolitical impact. The 14th Pipeline Technology Conference (ptc) will dedicate the opening plenary session on Tuesday, 19 March 2019 to the topic "Eurasian Pipeline Forum - Linking East and West". EITEP Senior Advisor Heinz Watzka will chair the session giving a deeper insight into the current status of the three key project.
In addition to that, the upcoming ptc offers a multitude of interesting technical session, panel discussions, plenary sessions and pipeline seminars. An accompanying exhibition with 80+ pipeline service and technologies providers rounds off the visit to the lively and fascinating capital of Germany.
