India plans to construct a liquefied natural gas (LNG) pipeline connecting the country to Myanmar and Bangladesh to secure its energy source and counter China's growing dominance in the region, two people privy to the developments revealed, according to a Daily Observer report.

Turkey: Damaged Gas Pipeline in Hatay Province Disrupts Supply Flow after Earthquake

Explosions rocked a natural gas pipeline in Turkey’s southernmost Hatay Province after a devastating earthquake measuring a magnitude of 7.8 hit the region in the early morning of Monday, sparking a fire that took hours to extinguish, the IHA agency reported yesterday.

Works Begin on Bulgarian Section of Interconnector Bulgaria-Serbia Gas Pipeline

Bulgaria, last week, began the construction activities for the long-delayed natural gas interconnector pipeline linking the country to its neighbour Serbia, allowing the transportation of non-Russian gas supplies to Belgrade to help bolster the security of supply in southeastern Europe, EU Commission announced.

Iran To Develop Prodigious Offshore Gas Field / Undersea Pipeline Near Kish

Iran has signed a $900 million deal with Iranian Offshore Engineering and Construction Company (IOEC) to develop the first phase of its Kish offshore gas field in the pristine waters of the Persian Gulf.  This was announced by Iranian state television over the weekend.

The gas field holds an estimated 1.5 trillion cubic meters of gas.

The Steep Decline In Russian Pipeline Gas Exports to Europe

In the wake of Russia's war in Ukraine and wider political tensions with the West, pipeline natural gas exports to Europe by energy giant Gazprom have declined by nearly 30 percent this past January from December, hitting a new monthly all-time low.

Study Proposes a 1000 Km-long Pipeline to Deliver Hydrogen Gas from South to North Oman

Expanded Trans Mountain Pipeline to Begin Filling by End-2023, MEG Energy Says

Increased Eastwards Gas Flow through Yamal-Europe Pipeline
