Russia has agreed to a 30-year contract to supply gas to China via Power of Siberia 2, a new 2600-km pipeline originating in the Bovanenkovo and Kharasavey gas fields in Yamal,  bolstering an energy alliance with Beijing amid Moscow's strained ties with the West over Ukraine and other issues.

Uganda And Tanzania Have Finalized Crude Oil Pipeline Terms, Drilling to Begin Soon

Tanzania and Uganda signed a deal with French and Chinese oil firms last week, finalizing a $10 billion pipeline and drilling project. While the project supporters say the pipeline project will boost the two countries economic growth, Ugandan activists said the complaints from the families affected by the government's project hadn't been taken into consideration.

German Part of Nord Stream 2 Pipeline's Subsidiary Established

Nord Stream 2 AG on Wednesday, January 26, announced funding a German subsidiary gas company. The new company will own and operate the 54-kilometer section of Germany's side of the Nord Stream 2 pipeline and the land-based facility at Lubmin.

Continuing Erosion in Piedra Fina Ecuador Lead to 485-km Crude Pipeline Breakdown

It is believed that serious and ongoing erosion in the Piedra Fina sector of Ecuador, situated south of San Francisco de Asís, led rocks to fall on the heavy OCP Ecuador crude oil pipeline. The pipeline's technical staff were trying to contain the damage.

Sinopec Builds World's Largest Solar-To-Green Hydrogen Plant With Pipelines And Storage

Chinese biggest hydrogen producer, Sinopec, started building one of the world's largest solar-to-hydrogen projects on Dec. 1, 2021.
