Odessa-Brody Pipeline Project to be Revived

On July 14, the Presidents of Ukraine and Azerbaijan Pyotr Poroshenko and Ilkham Aliyev revealed in a joint press conference that they are interested in implementing the Odessa-Brody pipeline project. In 2001, this pipeline was constructed for connecting Brody in the Lvov Region and Odessa on the Black Sea. However, the pipeline project has not been used often, since its construction.

Shawcor Grabs Conditional Contract for the Tuxpan Gas Pipeline Project’s Pipe Coating Services

The Mexican company Infraestructura Marina del Golfo (IMG) has offered a conditional contract to the pipe coating group of Shawcor Ltd. for providing pipeline coating solutions to the Tuxpan gas pipeline project. The conditional contract is worth approximately C$ 300 million.

Trans Adriatic Pipeline Project to get 78,000 Metric Tons Steel Product Supply by JFE

JFE Steel Corporation made an announcement on July 08 that it will supply major steel materials for the completion of the Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) project. The unincorporated consortium of Marubeni-Itochu Steel Inc. (MISI) and Corinth Pipeworks Pipe Industry S.A. (CPW) won the contract for this project.

Spectra Energy and TransCanada Team Up to Build a 1070-km Gas Pipeline From Texas to Mexico

Construction Commences on Trans Adriatic Pipeline

Construction has begun on the 48 inch diameter Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) which will deliver 10 bcm/annum of new Caspian gas supplies to Europe from 2020.

The TAP, which constitutes the European leg of the Southern Gas Corridor, will ensure Europe’s energy supply as well as diversifying its energy sources.
