Construction Commences on Trans Adriatic Pipeline

Construction has begun on the 48 inch diameter Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) which will deliver 10 bcm/annum of new Caspian gas supplies to Europe from 2020.

The TAP, which constitutes the European leg of the Southern Gas Corridor, will ensure Europe’s energy supply as well as diversifying its energy sources.

1400 km Oil Export Pipeline To Be Built from Uganda to Tanzania

After initially considering Kenya as the most suitable transit country for exporting crude oil, Uganda has elected to build a 1400 km oil pipeline through Tanzania, citing cost and security advantages. The pipeline is expected to begin operations in 2020.
