From 12-14 March 2018 Berlin will again host Europe’s leading pipeline conference and exhibition. The 13th edition of the Pipeline Technology Conference (ptc) provides a comprehensive overview of all developments in the onshore and offshore pipeline industry – covering planning & design, construction, operation and maintenance.
From the 2nd to the 4th of May, representatives of the international gas, oil, water, and product pipeline sectors met in Berlin at the Pipeline Technology Conference (ptc), the largest event for the industry in Europe.
The Pipeline Technology Conference, ptc, has developed into the largest pipeline conference in Europe in 11 years. In 2016, 540 delegates from 52 countries and 62 exhibitors have participated at the 11th ptc.
The regional meeting will take place at the Estrel in Berlin on 2 May 2017. Along with the large annual IPLOCA Convention, the association regularly hosts regional meetings. This regional approach allows guests to engage at the local level and discuss common issues and concerns. The meeting includes presentations from IPLOCA and invited guest speakers.
Last week, Germany’s largest pipeline operator Open Grid Europe hosted a debate about the Climate Action Plan 2050 and interlinking of sectors at the 3rd Energy Policy Dialogue in Essen. Some 130 decision-makers from the worlds of politics, commerce and society took part in the debate about the energy transition, the interlinking of sectors and the role of gas and gas infrastructure.

Water Midstream Partners, LLC has recently completed the commercial saltwater pipeline extension project’s southern extension in Midland County. This new pipeline system connects gas and oil wells inside and nearby the Midland city to the Saltwater Disposal Well on the Nadine and Tom Craddick Highway’s northern portion.
The workers at a Peruvian gas pipeline unit recently welcomed a new crewmember. Surprisingly, the new unofficial recruit to join the workforce is a sloth who was seen making an effort to turn a valve. The workers at the unit captured a video of the sloth in action during late June.
