California Oil Spill Ruins Wildlife Habitat

Tallgrass Taking Credible Action To Monitor Methane Gas Emissions In The United States

Tallgrass Energy Partners, a midstream oil and natural gas pipeline company founded in 2013 and presently operating approximately 7,539 miles of pipeline in the U.S. states of Nebraska, Kansas, Wyoming, Colorado, Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, and Ohio, will begin monitoring emissions, including methane and other greenhouse gases, on its Rockies Express Pipeline, making it the first U.S.

The 760,000 bpd Line 3 Tar Sand Crude Pipeline To Go Into Service On Friday

Enbridge announced yesterday that the upgrade of its notorious 1,097-km, 760,000 bpd Line 3 tar sands crude oil pipeline across Minnesota is "substantially complete" and that the vessel will be filled with heavy oil by the end of the week.

European Parliamentarians Suspect A Gazprom Role In Soaring Euro Gas Prices

Natural gas prices have been soaring in recent months in Europe and a group of European parliamentarians has asked the European Commission to investigate Gazprom's role in the price surge.

In a letter to the EU's executive Commission, dated Sept. 16, around 40 of the Parliament's 700 lawmakers said they suspected Russia's Gazprom had acted to push up gas prices.

Trans Adriatic Pipeline Ships 5 bcm of Caspian Sea Natural Gas to Europe

The Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP), a 878-km gas pipeline transporting natural gas from the mammoth Shaz Deniz field in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea to Europe, has shipped a total of 5 bcm of natural gas, reaching Europe via the interconnection point of Kipoi at the Greek - Turkish border.

German Pipeline Regulator Begins The Certification of the Nord Stream 2

Germany's energy regulator, the Bundesnetzagentur, said yesterday that four months, which began on 8 September, are required to complete certification of the now completed Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline running from Russia along the Baltic Sea floor to Germany.

Once the regulator completes its inspection it will send a draft decision to the European Commission.
