Atlantic Sunrise Shale Gas Pipeline Gets Hit With Big Fines

Transco, the company behind the $3 billion Atlantic Sunrise shale gas pipeline from Susquehanna County in northeastern Pennsylvania as far south as Alabama, is paying more than $700,000 in penalties for violations in nine counties.

ONGC Oil Pipeline Springs A Leak in Tamil Nadu in Southern India

Not So Fast With The $5.7 Billion Mountain Valley Natural Gas Pipeline

Just a day after the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers re-issued permits for the prospective Mountain Valley Natural Gas Pipeline to begin construction, a petition filed with the 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals by the Sierra Club and seven other environmental groups challenged the decision.

Big New Gas Pipeline Project Down Under

Leading Australian energy infrastructure company Jemena is proposing to extend its 797-km Eastern Gas Pipeline (EGP) by approximately 185-km from Horsley Park in Sydney to the Hunter Valley.  It is also planning to change the pipeline so the company can transport more gas to New South Wales and Victoria.

Too Many Pipelines, Too Little Demand

PipeChina Seals New Pact with Southern Guangdong

PipeChina, China's newly formed oil and gas pipeline behemoth whose birth was reported in these pages on 24 July of this year, has taken a concrete step in implementing its strategic vision: Southern Guangdong became the first province to transfer its natural gas pipeline network to the company, the state-run Xinhua news agency said.
