Tallgrass Energy Partners Acquires Big New Stake in the Pony Express Crude Oil Pipeline

Tallgrass Energy Partners (TEP) announced this week that it is acquiring an additional 31.3 percent interest in the 760 - mile Tallgrass Pony Express crude oil pipeline running from Guernsey, Wyoming to Cushing, Oklahoma.

The company will offer a cash consideration of $475 million and 6.518 million TEP common units issued to Tallgrass Development.

thyssenkrupp to Supply Flat Steel for 440 km Liquid Gas Pipeline in Texas

thyssenkrupp has announced that it will provide quality flat steel and logistics for a 440 km liquid gas pipeline running the length of Texas, the second biggest state in the USA, from Baden to Mont Belvieu. 44,000 tons of hot wide strip in grade X70 steel is required for the construction of the pipeline. The steel is a micro-alloyed fine-grain grade with a yield strength of 485 MPa.
