For the first time a non-european company has used Europe’s leading gas capacity trading platform to offer some it's pipeline capacities.

After the tunisian government and the italian company Eni had reached an agreement over the continuation of the gas pipeline in question the TTPC (Trans Tunisian Pipeline Company), a subsidiary of Eni, offered the capacities on the Prisma trading platform.

The pipeline runs through Tunisia from it's border with Algeria up to the mediterranean coast where it connects with the Trans-Mediterranean-Pipeline. It has a capacity of more than 34 billion cubic meters per year.
On the Prisma trading platform a capacity of 30 billion cubic meters were offered for a period of up to 10 years. According to the TTPC Prisma was chosen to ensure a transparent process. Prefered customers were the companies with a previous customer relation and preemptive rights.
