ROSEN Group Awarded Big-Ticket Contract For Pipeline Assessment by PETRONAS Carigali Sdn. Bhd

ROSEN Group, a global supplier of leading technology in all areas of the pipeline integrity process chain, has secured a major three year contract with PETRONAS Carigali Sdn. Bhd (PCSB) of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for Sarawak and Sabeh operations.

The scope includes approximately 260 pipelines, with diameters ranging from 4 to 48 inches, located mainly offshore. During the contract tenure, ROSEN will deliver detailed written Fitness for Service reports for many of these pipelines identifying required actions to ensure such assets continue to be operated safely under current and future demands.

The work will be completed using Intelligent Pigging (IP) results and significant volumes of other data. The additional data will comprise design reports, asbuilt drawings, operational data, anomaly reports, plus of course inspection and maintenance reports, Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) survey data, pipeline reassessment reports, riser inspections reports, etc.
