ROSEN Group has been awarded the Technology and Innovation category of OCENSA's Supply Award 2023 for its technological innovation in integrity management, the company announced on November 29, 2023.

The prestigious recognition highlights ROSEN's innovative approach to pipeline integrity management, specifically for the detection of circumferential cracks caused by external factors.

OCENSA, Colombia's largest hydrocarbon transporter, has partnered with ROSEN for over two decades to ensure its pipeline network's safe and efficient operation. 

According to the announcement, the collaboration has led to the development of customized solutions tailored to the unique challenges of OCENSA's underwater pipelines.

ROSEN's innovative crack detection technology utilizes angular ultrasound to identify circumferential cracks caused by external factors such as underwater currents and ground movement. The technology has been successfully implemented in OCENSA's pipelines, reducing costs, improving defect detection, and enhancing environmental and public safety.
