The winner photo of the ptc-photo contest under the motto “What is it like to work in the pipeline industry?” has been awarded during the Pipeline Technology Conference in Berlin, Germany. Winners of the competition were the pipeline system operators TANAP and TurkStream. The ptc Photo Contest has been sponsored my Maats.

The winning picture has been submitted by TANAP's Polad Rustamov: "We call this picture pipeline on the moon". A nice sunset photo taken during the construction of TANAP in Turkey
 

The runner up has been submitted by Sander van Rootselaar from TurkStream. It shows the world's largest construction vessel, the Pioneering Spirit, as it crosses the Bosporus to do the pipelay job for the TurkStream Project.

The new contest for 2020 will start soon. The most impressive technologies of Pipeline Inspection, Integrity, Coating, Welding or one of the many other fields in which the pipeline industry is operating will be part of the upcoming contest. The best pictures will be presented and awarded at the ptc, and published in the ptj.
