Kinder Morgan Sells Interest in Pembina Pipeline

Houston-based Kinder Morgan has sold its Pembina Pipeline interest (25 million shares) for $764 million after taxes and the added cash will be used in its 2020 budget to reduce debt.  Kinder Morgan acquired the shares when Pembina bought Kinder Morgan Canada last August as part of a C$4.35 billion ($3.33 billion) deal.

Iran Expected to Lead the Middle East in Newly Built Pipeline Additions

For all of the vaunted efficiency of the US sanctions regime, intending to close off Iran from global pipeline developments, Iran is expected to lead the Middle East’s oil and gas new-build trunk/transmission pipeline length additions, contributing around 43% of the region’s planned and announced pipeline length additions between 2020 and 2023.

The European Network of Transmission System Operators for Gas (ENTSOG), in cooperation with Gas Infrastructure Europe (GIE), have published the eight edition of the System Development map, which illustrates existing and planned gas infrastructure and gas capacities.

The Year Ends With a Flurry of Pipeline Construction in the US
