Contract for North-South Pipeline in Germany's Lower Saxony awarded to EUROPIPE

EUROPIPE has received an early order from Open Grid Europe (OGE) for the supply of large-diameter pipes for the Etzel-Wardenburg (EWA) and Wardenburg-Drohne (WAD) projects so that OGE can implement the projects on schedule. The realization of the two sections of the 138 km long pipeline is planned for 2024/25.

ROSEN Develops Hydrogen Research Project for the Energy Institute

The ROSEN Group developed a research report commissioned by the Energy Institute to identify current knowledge gaps regarding repurposing natural gas infrastructure for hydrogen. The report is based on a literature review of all ongoing technical work, joint industry projects, and research in this field worldwide.

Equinor and SEFE sign agreements for long-term gas sales and hydrogen supplies

Under the agreements Equinor will supply Germany’s state-owned energy company SEFE (Securing Energy for Europe) with 111 terrawatt hours (ca 10 billion cubic meters) of natural gas per year from 1 January 2024 until 2034, plus an option for another 5 years, at terms reflecting market prices.
