BP Awards Subsea 7 Contract for TOPR project Offshore Trinidad and Tobago

BP awarded Subsea 7 a contract for the TOPR project offshore Trinidad and Tobago. According to Subsea 7, the project will be carried out at depths of 280 feet.

The project covers a wide range of tasks, including installing a 12-inch diameter pipeline over 96 kilometers, diver tie-in spools, and an associated shore approach.

Argentina Launches Tender to Construct an Enormous Gas Pipeline Stretching over 1000 Km

The Government of Argentina, on Thursday, 21 April 2022,  launched the tender for the construction of a major gas pipeline that will run from the Southwest province of Neuquén to the north of Buenos Aires, stretching over a distance of over 1000 kilometers.

Illinois Natural Gas Pipeline Fate Unknown after the US Supreme Court Rejected Appeal

Construction On The Gas Inter-Connector Poland-Lithuania Has Been Completed

The 508-km, 27.5 inch, bi-directional Gas Inter-connector Poland - Lithuania (GIPL) has been completed and partial shipments of gas will be made available on 1 May 2022.  The GIPL will integrate the gas systems of the Baltic Sea region into the internal EU gas markets in line with the EC's energy security strategy.  Its construction started at the beginning of 2020.

Salzgitter Group Contracted to Supply Pipes Linking the Wilhelmshaven LNG Terminal

Mannesmann GrossRohr GmbH (MGR), a subsidiary of the Salzgitter AG, has been tasked with the delivery of line pipes for Wilhelmshaven-Pipeline Link (WPL) by the transmission system operator Open Grid Europe GmbH (OGE), a press release published by Salzgitter Group on Wed April 13 stated.

Saudi Arabia Announces construction of Neom’s $5 Billion Green Hydrogen Plant

Saudi Arabia has announced that it will start the construction of a $5 billion hydrogen plant in Neom this month to produce carbon-free hydrogen anticipated to be export-ready in the next four years to help transition to clean energy. The facility contracted by US-based firm Air Products and Chemicals Inc. will be located at Northwestern Saudi Arabia.
