The 760,000 bpd Line 3 Tar Sand Crude Pipeline To Go Into Service On Friday

Enbridge announced yesterday that the upgrade of its notorious 1,097-km, 760,000 bpd Line 3 tar sands crude oil pipeline across Minnesota is "substantially complete" and that the vessel will be filled with heavy oil by the end of the week.

Keystone Pipeline Resurrection is possible if the permit revocation is declared illegal

The Canadian Province, Alberta, on Thursday urged Texas federal judge to declare the revocation of a key permit for the canceled Keystone XL pipeline by Biden administration illegal, stating that a ruling on the case's merit could allow the project to go on.

Spiking gas prices in Europe could hasten Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline clearance

High gas prices in Europe could hasten the certification of the Russia-Germany Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline, analysts hinted on Tuesday. Despite the work on the twin pipeline having been completed, the German regulator said it would take up to four months to complete the certification process.

Trans Adriatic Pipeline Ships 5 bcm of Caspian Sea Natural Gas to Europe

The Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP), a 878-km gas pipeline transporting natural gas from the mammoth Shaz Deniz field in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea to Europe, has shipped a total of 5 bcm of natural gas, reaching Europe via the interconnection point of Kipoi at the Greek - Turkish border.

Nord Stream 2 Finished: Last Pipe Has Been Welded in the Baltic Sea

Today, specialists on the laybarge Fortuna welded the last pipe of the two strings of the Nord Stream 2 Pipeline.The pipeline will be lowered to the seabed and finally connected to the other end, Nord Stream 2 AG announced on Monday.

CNOOC Accepts Delivery Of Buzzard Phase II Module

In the Scottish part of the North Sea, Chinese state-owned energy giant China National Offshore Oil Corp. International Ltd. (CNOOC), has accepted delivery of a new topsides module for its Buzzard Phase II project, some 96 km northeast of the port of Aberdeen, at a depth of about 96 m of water.

Long Delayed $9 bln Keystone XL Pipeline Project Has Been Cancelled By TC Energy Corp

On Wednesday, it was officially announced by its promoters TC Energy Corp behind the long delayed $9 billion Keystone XL Pipeline Project that it had been cancelled. This pipeline project, if completed, would have enabled the transportation of Albertan  tar sands to a Nebraskan pipeline hub, before onward transport by existing pipelines to Gulf coast refineries in Texas.

Approval of the Gulf Run Pipeline Granted By FERC

Oklahoma-based, pipeline operator and developer Enable Midstream Partners, announced on June 2, that it had gained FERC ( Federal Energy Regulatory Commission) approval to construct and operate a new pipeline, named the Gulf Run Pipeline. Approval was granted under section 7C of the National Gas Act.
