A New 18km Long Natural Gas Pipeline Completed In Nigeria

The 18 km long Rite Foods Limited pipeline linking the factory in Ososa, Ogun State with the regional gas pipeline hub at Ibefun is complete. Able to carry 150,000,000 ft³ of gas a day, it will deliver reliable energy to the factory, which produces a range of products including Bigi Drinks, Rite and Bigi Sausages and Fearless Energy Drinks.

Indian Oil to monetise pipeline assets

India’s Finance Minister, Nirmala Sitharaman in a recent budget speech announced plans to monetise (privatise) existing oil and gas pipeline infrastructure, which is operated by various state-owned assets including the Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), gas utility GAIL (India) Ltd and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL).

Italian Gas Pipeline Operator Sets Ambitious Goal

Italy’s Snam SpA, one of Europe’s largest gas pipeline operators, has set a net zero emissions target for 2040 to be achieved with an increased investment in green energy and hydrogen projects. In its 2020 to 2024 strategic plan, this Italian operator will invest €7.4 billion which is €1 billion more, for its energy transition.
