U.S. Department Of Transportation Grants Nearly $100 Million To Support Pipeline Safety

The U.S. Department of Transportation Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA), on Wednesday, Sept. 29  announced the award of $98,800,117 grant to territories, tribes, and states to support pipeline and hazardous material safety programs.

Tallgrass Taking Credible Action To Monitor Methane Gas Emissions In The United States

Tallgrass Energy Partners, a midstream oil and natural gas pipeline company founded in 2013 and presently operating approximately 7,539 miles of pipeline in the U.S. states of Nebraska, Kansas, Wyoming, Colorado, Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, and Ohio, will begin monitoring emissions, including methane and other greenhouse gases, on its Rockies Express Pipeline, making it the first U.S.

European Parliamentarians Suspect A Gazprom Role In Soaring Euro Gas Prices

Natural gas prices have been soaring in recent months in Europe and a group of European parliamentarians has asked the European Commission to investigate Gazprom's role in the price surge.

In a letter to the EU's executive Commission, dated Sept. 16, around 40 of the Parliament's 700 lawmakers said they suspected Russia's Gazprom had acted to push up gas prices.

US largest fuel pipeline network resumed operations on Tuesday, as the facility withstood hurricane Nicholas, said the company spokesperson on Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2021.
